Sending notifications to Slack using a webhook

This integration is deprecated. We recommend using the Slack App integration.

Procedure

1. Generate a webhook URL for a specific Slack channel.

2. Select Add to Slack.

3. Select a Slack channel.

4. Select Add Incoming Webhooks integration, and copy the Webhook URL.

5. In Firefly, select Settings > Integrations.

6. Select Add New > Slack.

7. Select Slack Webhook from the Integration type field.

8. Enter a descriptive name in the Nickname field.

9. Paste the URL in the Webhook URL field.

10. Select Next > Done.
